MANGO'S TROPICAL CAFE PHOTOS After a difficult morning practice we headed down I-95 to Miami and caught I-195 out to Miami Beach, or South Beach! We wound up on Ocean Drive and decided to have lunch at Mango's Tropical Cafe, which by day is a cafe restaurant with an amazing atmosphere buzzing to salsa, merenge, bachata and reggae music, and at night is one of the hottest dance clubs in South Beach. While eating lunch you can watch the waiters and waitresses dance and you can even get up and dance with them which is what I enjoyed doing! Another cool thing is that the restaurant is completely hand painted with most of the tropical scenes done by Haitian artists! I look forward to a return trip to Mango's a few years down the road which will be another story for another time! -Abigail Anderson- July 2005
Mango's Cafe is located in the heart of South Beach. We went to Mango's Tropical Cafe one afternoon for lunch, but it is also open for dinner and dancing. Many people go at night because Mango's is one of South Beach's hottest night spots. The waiters perform a show of dancing for you, which is really entertaining. While we were there, Abigail, Jordan, and I took a picture in the back of Mango's holding two huge parrots. The parrots also liked to dance along to the music being played at Mango's. Mango's has a fun atmosphere and I would definitely go back. -Faith Creekmore- July 2005
