The Condado area of Santurce is located between San Juan and Ocean Park. At one time it was the wealthiest neighborhood in San Juan but has slipped in recent years. Several large hotels such as the Marriott, Condado Plaza and Radisson are present and there is a multi million dollar investment to restore the Condado Trio. There are some good places to eat and a nice lagoon for a little open water swimming. The best beach to hang out at would be at the Marriott Hotel on Ashford Avenue.
