After a trip to Mar Chiquita we headed up to Ciales in the interior mountains to cool off. Ciales is located in the northern elevations of the Central Mountain Range (Cordillera Central) and is known for its' distinct coffee. To get to Ciales from San Juan travel West on PR 22 to exit 48. At the end of the ramp make a left onto PR 149 and head South, up into the mountains to Ciales.
