Cody
was born on March 16, 1990 in Redwood City, California and he is currently
a sophomore at Hendersonville High School. He began swimming summer
league with the Indian Lake Swim Team and began year round swimming with MTSC in 1997. Cody enjoys a variety of sports which include football,
baseball, hockey, and paintball. He is an avid fan of the Southern
California Trojans! During the summer of 2004 in Tuscaloosa, Cody had several top 8
finishes in the 13-14 boys freestyle events. Cody traveled with MTSC twice to
Puerto Rico last and participated in the Humacao Invitational, the Copa
Pepe Sanchez and the San Juan de Batista Ocean Swim at Ocean Park. His
favorite part of the trip was Crashboat Beach in Aguadilla and Guajataca Beach
in Isabela. In the December 2000 Meet of Champs
and the Spring 2001 SES Championships Cody had Top Eight finishes in numerous
events. As a 12 year old, Cody qualified for the SES Zone Team that
competed in San Antonio, Texas. Cody is the son of Mary and Ron Chlasta and he
has two brothers,
Scott and Troy.
